CARP Webinars & Online Events
Conversations on reputation, power, public narratives, and character assassination—across disciplines and across time.
About Our Webinars
CARP regularly hosts webinars and other online events that bring our community together around shared interests in reputation, power, and public narratives. Over the years, we’ve welcomed a wide range of voices—from distinguished senior scholars and seasoned practitioners to early-career researchers and graduate students—who have presented their ongoing work or reflected on their professional experiences. These conversations explore reputational dynamics from multiple angles, including history, sociology, political psychology, rhetoric, journalism, and political communication.
We are always eager to hear your ideas for future webinars that align with our research and educational mission. We especially encourage graduate students and scholars with projects in progress to suggest their topics—our webinars offer a friendly, intellectually stimulating space to test ideas, share findings, and receive thoughtful peer feedback. If you’re interested, please get in touch and let’s schedule a webinar!
